Our guest said they had one of the most incredible moments of their life. The couple rented 2 stand up paddle boards from us. The couple spent most of the day paddling up and down the beach from Bradenton beach to Holmes Beach. They said they were shocked and thrilled the amount of wildlife they saw up close! Dolphins, schools of tarpon rolling, and manatees!!! First, they were telling me of how a pair of dolphins came up to their boards and wanted to play. It was like the couple of humans were meeting the couple of dolphins. The guests explained the dolphins were so friendly and played with the couple and the boards for about 10-15 minutes. What an experience. Then on the same day there were able to get about 5 feet from a manatee. They described that they were a bit scared at first due to the size of these sea cows but once they knew what it was they said it was magical. I wish we had the pictures to show. This is life on Anna Maria Island in the summer.
